This is a PV4 valve, 3 flare adapter fittings, and one flare plug. The flare adapter fittings all have 7/16" female inverted flare ports which is what you need for 1/4" brake lines. Alternatively, you can purchase only the 3 flare adapter fittings, and one flare plug
1970s and older medium duty trucks had a single circuit brake fluid system that fed four drum brakes. When you go to a dual output master cylinder, and you have two independent brake fluid circuits, this introduces the possibility of having the two circuits out of balance which causes unequal braking front and rear. A PV4 valve maintains equal pressure front and rear, same balance as original.
PV4 valves have 1/2" and 7/16" input ports. The rear output port is 9/16". There are two front output ports, both 3/8". One of these can be plugged and you can use your factory downstream lines which include a T fitting.
Please know that at some point, I will sell specially made proportioning valves that have 7/16" ports and don't require flare adapters. Those will be less expensive. It's been slow going working with a manufacturer on this, so I don't have a definite date these will be available.
