This is an 18 gauge formed steel plate that is helpful for installing a Cummins engine in a classic Ford pickup. This is designed to not interfere with the wiper mounting bolt holes, and to no affect your hvac.  It is pictured with a 2003 common rail engine. This may or may not be needed with a 12 valve 

Note that if you have factory air, this will push one of the hvac boxes forward and you separately need to purchase adapter piece CSP-FWP2 to make the hvac work
