This is a bracket, lever, and hardware to install a clutch master cylinder onto the firewall of a 1968-78 and some 1979 Ford trucks. The following is a summary of information to know. Read all before ordering:
- Currently we do not have a version of this that fits a pedal assembly for applications that originally had a 1979 angled rod with offset eyelet style booster. If you have a manual pedal assembly from this application you are willing to loan us, please reach out. For now the solution is a different pedal assembly.
- This requires the upside down oriented Super Duty booster. This is our FB2HC part number with the FXA-HB4 variant of mounting brackets. We plan to make a FXD-HB4 compatible clutch master kit but not available now
- If you have previously ordered an FB2 hydroboost kit from us, send an email and we can give a discount on the FB2HC parts.
- The bracket is contoured to work with our "HC" high clearance booster brackets. the clutch has the same slight upward angle as the booster, relative to the firewall. It hardly shows, but it is angled upward to help with clearance.
- There are two options as far as clutch master goes:
- 2014-2018 Dodge style such as Sachs SPS070. This is a bolt on style. This works on NV5600 and NV4500 transmissions, as well as G56. The firewall side is more swap friendly than other options and the transmission side is the same through the years.
- 2005-2010 Ford style such as Luk LMC632. This is a twist in style. This would be paired with a ZF6. It may work with a ZF5, we are not yet sure. This style is not yet stocked and we are in the final stages of prototyping. no promises on lead time.
