The original hood latch support bracket has a vertical bar that goes down to the bottom of the core support. Using our INT4 intercooler, you do not need to replace the original hood latch bracket. In order to add a condenser and trans cooler, or in order to fit some other intercooler, you'll run into a clearance issue with the original hood latch pieces. 

This bracket eliminates the need for a vertical bar by going from 2 bolts at the top to 4 bolts at the top, and by being heavier 10 gauge steel. This frees up space, but keep in mind the grill is still going to be limiting. I expect our intercooler, plus a condenser, plus a fairly thin trans cooler will fit without any, or at least major, modifications to any original part. 

The hood latch remains at the same oem location.
