Pictures of 1973-1979 Original 2WD Trucks with 05+ SD Front Axle

In general, I have two versions of spring buckets for 2wd trucks- one that lifts the truck enough so as to not require cutting of the engine crossmember (the "standard buckets"), and one that holds the truck 3" lower and does require cutting of the engine crossmember front and back (the "drop buckets"). All of the below  pictures are of the standard buckets unless otherwise noted

The next pictures are of the 3" drop version. Note the cutting and welding of the engine crossmember required for differential clearance. I do not supply these plates- you need to supply and make those basic plates to box the crossmember in.

The orange crew cab and the bare frame shown below have the drop height version with taller buckets and smaller radius arm brackets

Frames without the hump on the front frame rail in front of the bucket require minor notching and welding for installation of the top steering box bolt sleeve
